COMICS CRAVER TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Comics Craver's website and related online features (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the Comics Craver Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Comics Craver is operated by a private individual in India who is under the age of majority. The Service does not publish the operator's name, address, school, phone number, personal email address, age, or other identifying personal information. The designated public contact is listed below.

2. THE SERVICE

Comics Craver is a reader interface that may provide tools for discovering, searching, organizing, or accessing comics-related information, links, and features. The public frontend is hosted or delivered through Vercel, Cloudflare provides DNS for the Service's domain, and the backend/API is operated on a Hack Club VPS. When a user selects a chapter through a source-connector extension, the backend may request the third-party source page to obtain image URLs; the user's device then requests the images directly from the third-party image host. Comics Craver does not intentionally proxy, cache, store, or re-host those image files.

The features, sources, availability, and geographic access to the Service may change over time. We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features where reasonably necessary. We do not promise that a particular title, source, feature, or result will be available, accurate, complete, lawful in every location, or suitable for every user.

3. AGE REQUIREMENT

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use any feature that requires you to submit personal information. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms and the Comics Craver Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, do not create an account or submit personal information to the Service.

The operator's status as a minor does not invite users to seek, collect, disclose, or share the operator's personal information. Do not attempt to identify, contact, or harass the operator outside the designated contact channel.

4. ACCOUNTS AND SECURITY

Some features may require an account. If you create an account, you must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us at contact@comicscraver.app of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account to the extent permitted by law.

We may refuse registration, require verification, suspend an account, or remove account content when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, rights holders, or the public, or to enforce these Terms.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You may use the Service only for lawful, personal, and non-abusive purposes. You must not:

• violate applicable law or another person's rights;
• use the Service to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual-property rights;
• upload, submit, link to, request, or distribute unlawful, infringing, malicious, exploitative, or harmful material;
• attempt to access accounts, systems, APIs, data, or content without authorization;
• bypass rate limits, security measures, access controls, robots instructions, or other restrictions;
• scrape, crawl, harvest, mirror, or automate access at a scale or in a way that harms, overloads, or disrupts the Service, except where we expressly permit it in writing;
• introduce malware, attack the Service, interfere with others' use, or probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• collect personal information about users or the operator without permission; or
• use the Service to threaten, harass, dox, stalk, exploit, or endanger any person.

6. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT, SOURCES, AND SOURCE-CONNECTOR EXTENSIONS

The Service may use source-connector extensions adapted for Comics Craver from community-developed, open-source projects originally made for Tachiyomi- or Mihon-compatible readers. These extensions may display, index, link to, or connect you with information or services provided by third-party comic and manhwa sources. Comics Craver does not own or claim ownership of third-party comics, manhwas, websites, or their content, and does not claim affiliation with the original open-source projects, their contributors, or a source merely because an extension or link makes it available.

Source-connector extensions and the third-party sources they access may change, stop working, or be removed at any time. We do not promise that an extension or source is accurate, secure, lawful in your location, non-infringing, available, or suitable for any purpose. We may remove or restrict an extension or source when reasonably necessary, including in response to a rights-holder complaint, security concern, legal request, or suspected violation of these Terms.

You are responsible for reviewing each source's terms, privacy policy, and content rules, and for using third-party content only as permitted by its owner and applicable law. If the Service, extension, or source provides a link, stream, image, metadata, or other access, that does not grant you any right to copy, download, distribute, display, or otherwise use copyrighted material beyond what law or the rights holder permits. Requests or other interactions with a third-party source may be governed by that source's own terms and policies.

7. OPEN-SOURCE SOFTWARE NOTICES

The Service may include or adapt open-source software. The applicable open-source licence terms, copyright notices, and required attribution or notice files continue to apply to that software. Nothing in these Terms removes those obligations or grants rights beyond the applicable licence.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Except for third-party materials, Comics Craver and its original interface, code, branding, text, and other original Service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended personal purpose.

You retain ownership of material you lawfully submit to the Service. If you submit feedback, suggestions, or reports, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them to operate and improve the Service, without identifying you unless you agree.

9. COPYRIGHT COMPLAINTS

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe material, an extension, or a link available through the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, send a written complaint to contact@comicscraver.app with:

• your name or the name of the rights holder you are authorized to represent;
• a way to contact you;
• identification of the protected work;
• the exact URL or sufficient information to locate the allegedly infringing material or link;
• a clear explanation of your claim;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
• a statement that the information is accurate and, where applicable, that you are authorized to act for the rights holder; and
• your physical or electronic signature.

We may request additional information and may remove, disable, or restrict access to material or links while we review a complaint. We may also notify the relevant user or source where appropriate. Submitting knowingly false or misleading complaints may have legal consequences.

10. AVAILABILITY, DISCLAIMERS, AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Comics Craver disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your needs, be compatible with every device, remain available, be free from viruses or other harmful components, or produce accurate search, metadata, or third-party results. You use the Service and any third-party source at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Comics Craver and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Service or third-party content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Comics Craver and its operator for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid directly to Comics Craver for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, if any. This limitation does not apply where a limitation is prohibited by applicable law, and does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

12. INDEMNITY

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Comics Craver and its operator from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your unlawful use of the Service, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or material you submit. This section will be interpreted only to the extent enforceable under applicable law.

13. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, limit functionality, or take other reasonable protective action if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, infringed rights, compromised security, or abused the Service. Where practical, we may provide notice, but immediate action may be necessary for security, legal, or safety reasons.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and dispute provisions, will survive to the extent permitted by law.

14. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE OR TERMS

We may revise these Terms as the Service, its features, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where reasonably practical or legally required. Continuing to use the Service after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

15. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory laws in your place of residence provide otherwise. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at contact@comicscraver.app and give a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection or other applicable law, courts in India with lawful jurisdiction will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Service. Nothing in these Terms restricts a consumer or user right that cannot lawfully be restricted, including any right to bring a complaint before a competent authority or court.
